Firstly, try burping your baby, as trapped air can contribute to hiccups. Holding your baby upright against your shoulder or sitting them up and gently patting or rubbing their back can help release any gas. Offering your baby a pacifier to suck on may also help, as the sucking action can soothe the diaphragm. Additionally, giving your baby small sips of water if they're old enough to drink from a bottle can sometimes help. Distraction techniques like gently rocking your baby or engaging them in play can also help shift their focus and stop the hiccups.
